Southwest Greens has recently commemorated a 15-year presence in the EMEA zone — a milestone we are thrilled with. Starting out as a “cowboy” by appropriating a synthetic soccer field and calling it a tee box to engineered solutions that look and play authentic — a lot has evolved.
At Southwest Greens, we begin developing while keeping the end result in mind. We strive to develop artificial putting green turf that has the same appearance of genuine turf. The feel we are talking about is in the context of ball behavior — to be more precise — bounce, aim, and roll.
Bounce, aim, and roll speaks of the underlying technology behind our artificial putting green turf products. This project is known as “Science Behind The Surface,” and we examine our synthetic turf against natural greensward using a playability assessment tool.
